My very first nanny position was as an Au Pair in Southern California, after I graduated with my degree in Human Physiology. I had no clue what I was doing. All I knew, there was a sorority sister in college who was an Au Pair in Italy and I thought, “Hey! I could do that too. How hard could it be?”

What an *eye-opening experience* that was! I went from a burnt-out college student, to (what felt like) a single stay-at-home mom of two toddlers.
I have worked as an Au Pair/Live-in Nanny, a long-term full-time Live-out Nanny, a Temporary Nanny, a Travel Nanny, a Babysitter, an After-School Nanny, and just about any other combination of Nanny/Childcare Provider you can think of (in addition to working in a preschool & K-12 setting).
After a *full career* and spending the last three solid years on the road as a Travel Nanny, I realized I wanted to have a home base. I also saw my time working as a professional Nanny coming to an end💔.
With the desire to still work in & serve the childcare industry I am passionate about, I started to *consult with families about their childcare needs*.
I found a *new purpose helping families* navigate the industry with the confidence to find the right fit for their unique family needs.
I learned *a lot* that first year & it was where the foundation of my care style began.
While I miss getting weirdly competitive over a game of Exploding Kittens & discussing the plot holes that live among children’s TV shows, I’m so grateful to be trusted by you to foster the next generation of *lasting partnerships* between families & childcare providers.
As a nanny, I’ve been on the other side of the screen. I’ve seen some great job listings from families that had me jumping from my seat saying “pick me!” and some job listings where I *quickly* went looking elsewhere😳.
I want to *share the knowledge* I’ve gathered through an 11+yr career with you, so it’s not an overwhelming & confusing process for you to navigate.
The childcare industry is changing towards a more regulated & *competitive market*.
